Field Description

While each product will have a slightly different variation of fields, an example is provided using the Handwritten Letters product:


Select Template: Choose the letter you would like to mail. Make sure to scroll through the images to view each option.


Postage: Select first-class (1-3 day delivery after your mail date) or standard class (5-20 day delivery after your mail date)


Letterhead: Select an option. If you choose to Use Your Own Logo, be sure to upload the logo image. Make sure to scroll through the images to view each option.


Envelope Style: Choose the envelope style.  Scroll through the images to view each option.


Use Name and Return Address attached to Leads: Keep this checked to use the return name and address that are attached to your leads. Uncheck this if you want to manually overwrite the return name and address with a new one.


Use Phone Number(s) attached to Leads: Keep this checked to use the return phone number that is attached to your leads. Uncheck this if you want to manually overwrite the phone number with a new one.


Quantity: Displays the number of leads selected.


Cost: Displays the cost per lead.


Total Cost: Displays the total cost for your order.



Placing an Order

To place your order, click the Order button, enter your credit card information and then click Pay. After your order has been submitted, you will receive the following popup. Click Ok to return to the last page you were on (either the Leads page or the Marketing Campaigns page).




What happens when you place an order?

Once you submit your order, it will go directly to Open Letter Marketing. OLM will email you a proof within 24-48 business hours. After you approve the proof, your mailers will be in the mail stream within 2-3 business days.


If you selected the Fulfillment button from the Leads page, the count in the Number of Marketing Activities field within each lead will increase by 1 and a new marketing activity will be added to each lead's Marketing History section with the following information:

  • Type: the product that you ordered
  • Round, Batch: this will show as a dash "-"
  • Date: the date you placed the order
  • Status: Completed



If you selected the Fulfillment button from the Marketing Campaigns page, there will be updates on the Marketing Campaigns page and within each lead.


For the Marketing Campaigns page, the name of the Marketing Activity will update to the product you ordered (i.e., if the marketing activity was originally Tri-Fold Flyers and you ordered Handwritten Letters, it will update to Handwritten Letters), the cost will update to the amount that you paid, the status will change to completed and there will be a receipt icon next to the cost.



When you click the receipt icon, this popup appears to display your order:



For each lead, the count in the Number of Marketing Activities field will increase by 1 and a new marketing activity will be added to each lead's Marketing History section with the following information:

  • Type: the product that you ordered
  • Round, Batch: the round number and the batch name that the lead was associated with for this marketing activity
  • Date: the date you placed the order
  • Status: Completed
